About the Director
Karim Moussaoui, Born in 1976 in Jijel, Algeria, Karim Moussaoui became a film programmer in Algiers. For a number of years, he worked as an assistant for directors such as Tariq Teguia and Nadir Moknache. In 2013 he made The Days Before. His debut feature film The Nature of Time (2017) has been selected to screen at the Cannes Film Festival.
His 2017 film, UNTIL THE BIRDS RETURN, was selected in the Un Certain Regard section at the 70th Cannes IFF.
